A high-performing cashback promotion for Moccona

Promotion Overview

Moccona’s “Love It & The Next One Is On Us” campaign was designed to reward loyal coffee lovers with a free Moccona Barista Reserve product following their initial purchase. By offering a seamless cashback experience, the promotion encouraged repeat purchases while reinforcing Moccona’s premium brand positioning.

Participants simply purchased an eligible product, uploaded their receipt, and once validated, received a prepaid card loaded with the value of their original purchase - ready to be used for their next Moccona experience.

Our Role

KO partnered with TCN, Neon, Mix Agency, and Jacobs Douwe Egberts to design and build a custom microsite, complete with automated variable gift card fulfilment based on the purchase amount. The platform ensured a smooth user journey and effortless backend processing, streamlining the entire cashback process from claim to reward.

Results & Impact

The campaign significantly outperformed forecasts, becoming one of KO’s largest cashback activations to date. With strong claim volumes and increased sales, the promotion proved highly effective in driving repeat purchases and deepening customer loyalty to the Moccona brand.
