Promotion Overview

KO partnered with Arc, Arnott’s, and Xbox to bring the Shapes Xbox promotion to life, giving lucky winners the chance to win an Xbox Series X or a share in 30,000 instant Game Pass prizes. The campaign successfully layered multiple promotional mechanics, including daily draws, instant wins, and a retailer-exclusive draw, creating an engaging and rewarding experience for participants.

Our Role

KO enhanced the promotion with a highly interactive and visually dynamic microsite. A shimmering animated key visual set the stage, while the gamified Shapes pack provided a fun and immersive way to reveal prizes. Entrants could tap to open the lid of the Shapes box and use their phone’s built-in accelerometer to tip the pack, emptying the flavour at the bottom to reveal their instant win result. Additionally, the campaign utilized KOHub’s OCR receipt validation for seamless entry verification.

Results & Impact

The campaign successfully combined multiple promotional mechanics with interactive engagement, driving huge participation rates and excitement among Shapes and Xbox fans. The gamified experience added an extra layer of fun, making the promotion more memorable and increasing brand interaction.
